The hot spring resort in Warner Springs was closed several years ago following bankruptcy. The resort has new owners and may reopen someday. The Warner Springs Community Center (about 100 yards east of the PCT and the first crossing of Highway 79) has been very hiker-friendly the past few years offering hikers water, computer use, food, and a small store.

Big Lake is proud to be an official Pacific Crest Trail resupply point and every summer we love meeting all the hikers who come through camp. We accept packages throughout the hiking season, but are open for meals, showers, and laundry June 14, 2016 through September 5, 2016. If you arrive at Big Lake before or after these dates, you can still pick-up your package by visiting our main office located in our Headquarters building. We ask that all PCT hikers report to our Headquarters building and check in. Our office staff will assist you in finding your package and directing you to the showers and laundry facility. Please join us for a meal (see times below) and, if you’re up for it, some evening entertainment during our infamous evening Campfire program at 7:40 pm. Safe travels and we’ll see you soon!

Big Lake Youth Camp is a hiker-friendly Seventh-Day Adventist church camp 8/10 mile N of PCT. They offer camping, showers, laundry, meals and they accept resupply packages shipped by USPS or UPS.

 Nearest grocery stores are located, 35 miles to the east in Leavenworth and 36 miles to the west in Gold
Bar.
 Safest and best access from the south end of PCT to the north end is through the Stevens Pass base area
and across the pedestrian bridge over US Hwy 2. It is illegal to cross the highway except over the
pedestrian bridge.
